Did a little research on the web before I bought my first fly fishing outfit
today. I ended up buying an Echo II rod, 6wt, 9ft, an Orvis Battenkill Bar Stock Reel III, and Sage (Rio) weight forward floating #6 line. With backing, line, and leader installed at the Arizona Flyfishing shop, I got out the door for $395. Tomorrow is the first day of practice before I head back to WY next year. |
