CHECK OUT THIS WEBSITE http://luredeals.bravehost.com as for the split ring choice i would say take it off tie on a swivel snap all the swivel snap does is makes it easier to change lures ect.. And of course your line doesnt twist all up leaving it weak after a while Thanks haulin bass
