Larry,
Mel Krieger will be at the Golden Gate Casting Ponds on Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 9:30 - 3:00pm to give "Free" casting lessons. http://www.ggacc.org/p/ViewEvent.aspx?eid=164 It's well worth it if you can make the trip. Or fly to the SFO, and I can pick you up and drop you back off since it's on the way up for me. I went two years ago and it paid off as he taught me his cast. Mel's a joy to have a personal lesson with, the smoothest caster I've seen. I'm telling you early if you want to book a flight on Southwest Air for the cheap rates. -tom
