![]() Hey, I prefer thread splitting also. Provides less bulk than dubbing loops. Part of the "trick" is to let your bobbin hang for a few minuites so any spin in the thread can unwind. Then when you release tension on the thread it will tend to flatten and you can insert your dubbing needle.
