That's it... You've got it.....

Carry on.

O.k., I'll do my best but, for the record, I really think it would be easier
if you would simply explain it all to us. So, let's run with the idea that
"perhaps the next time one has to wonder," refers to the rationale for your
first offering in this thread. What, one naturally wonders, could he have
been wondering about? Well, it would have to be something in keeping with
the bold, forthright and manly character displayed so prominently in that
first message, would it not, not? Yes, I think so. Thus, perhaps it was a
statement about the seriousness of literature as a mirror of life and the
concomitant need to take IT seriously......not? It follows that an offering
of preadolescent dialogue (well, on one end anyway) does a great disservice
to an audience expecting something more.....more.....um.....well more like
your own occasional contributions. As a sometime amateur student of
literature myself, I find this hypothesis not entirely lacking in merit.
However, it doesn't do full justice to the sort commanding vision and rigid
adherence to standards of excellence you not only display, not, but also
must naturally demand of others and whatnot. No, it simply won't do. Not
bold enough and certainly not lofty enough. I think maybe we need to
stretch our imaginations beyond anything we've ever attempted before and
think along lines that seem completely foreign and alien to us. I think you
are simply asking us to throw caution to the winds and act as if we believe
that we could be a near match for a two year old in our own literary
efforts, in short, to be more like you. Hubris! the crowds will cry. Why,
the very impertinence of it! True, true.......but what a liberating
effrontery.......not?

How'm I doing so far?

Wolfgang
who would have preferred multiple guess or true/false......but life its own
self offers up what it will.
