Default The blogosphere

Strange as it will seem to many here, and as it does to me, a number
of people from another realm have recently asked me whether or not I
had a blog and/or suggested that I should have one. No doubt, other
opinions will appear here. Be that as it may.

I am neither a technophobe nor a technogeek. A personal soap box
doesn't sound like a bad idea on the face of it, but dicking around
with incomprehensible instructions (which, sadly, is the norm these
days regardless of the venue) in pursuit of abonimable to intolerable
results doesn't hold much appeal. Nor am I much interested in walking
blithely through yet another open door to the the personal information
mining abattoir.

Anybody got a recommendation for a decent blog host*?

giles
*and, yeah, it's gotta be free.
