While vacationing on the Or. coast a couple weeks ago, my bride dropped me
off at the Rogue Brewery. She and the kids had some additional shopping that
I couldn't take any longer. The brewery sits just off the Newport Marina. I
thought I was in heaven, window open, cool ocean breeze, boats of all sizes
and shapes passing by while I sipped a cold brew... After a couple pints I
went down and chatted with some fisherman that were participating in the
Tuna Classic. Appeared to be a big deal, there were people from all over,
Sitka, AK. was the furthest I saw. The coast calls my name in the retirement
years.

I took a real liking to the Rouge American Amber Ale... I didn't know it at
the time, but after some checking, it's won several awards over the last 15
yrs.. Well, all of there beers have won awards over the last 15 yrs.
