Hi,
Thanks for help on how to spool a spinning reel. New at this, so can I please ask another dumb question: I've seen all the links showing how to rig plastic baits using those hooks with the small offset or bend near the eye. Fine, anxious to try it. But, I have also seen hooks, presumably for the plastic worms too, that have a small piece of barbed wire hanging from the eye. I cannot find any pix or how-to's on the web showing the rigging of these. Not even the Mr.Twister or the Lunker City sites seem to have. Surprising. I presume that this is meant to be threaded into the nose of the plastic worm. Right ? Is the rest of the rigging of the hook into the bait the same as for the "regular" plastic bait hooks I initially described ? Do these, I think they are called "Keeper Worm Hooks", offer any advantage ? Or, should I just stick with the regular kind with just the small bend near the eye ? Any thoughts would be most appreciated. I will be doing small and largemouth bass fishing in New England (small stuff). Thanks, Bob |
