At our Spring Fling, I won the silent auction for a certificate from
Chota. I was able to buy a pair of their new Caney Fork "Felt Alternative" wading boot at cost. I paid the extra and had them send a set of studs too. Unfortunately, they were back ordered on the carbide, so I got the regular studs (aluminum sheet metal screws). Taking the boots to Penns. Will do some comparison with my felt Chotas (that have been soaked in a bleach solution since the trip to the White in Arkansas). Watch this space. Frank Reid |
