I'm considering buying a Cabela's Prestige Reel and fly line, but was curious as to other's experiences with this produce line. I like the company and have had good success with their stuff, but haven't used their reels. Any comments? Thanks. KD I think the reel represents a pretty good value. I prefer the Orvis Rocky Mountain cassette reel. The Cabela's cheap lines I've had were pretty good bang for the buck. They floated better than the cheap Dorber lines I had. But, they were short. You could cast the whole line and ended up handling the backing quite a bit. You're not the Kevin Davis from Billings are you?
