Hi Josh,
I'll assume you're using Internet Explorer as your browser software. When
you are viewing a newsgroup, the active window is produced by Outlook
Express (or possibly
Outlook). From there, you click Tools - Accounts and highlite the name
of your news account,
which is generally similar to the name of your ISP.
Then click Properties and you should see a box named "Email Address"
This character string is what the spam robot software harvests, and you can
make
it anything you want. You probably need to close and reopen Internet
Explorer, etc
before the change takes effect.
If you use Netscape or a different email client, the menu sequence may be
different.
Get in touch if you have any problem.
Bill

Bill,

Not sure how to change address as you suggest. What menu heading do I
look under to do it? This stuff puzzles me. Thanks for advice, it cant

hurt.
