Willi, I think our friend, snakefiddler, is pulling our leg about not
getting a fishing license. You do make a great point about money maintaining our sport -- I buy both the State of Washington (where I live) and the State of Oregon (where I tend to fish some) the complete set of fishing licenses, even though I don't fish for sturgeon (know any good sturgeon flies?) or usually collect shellfish and whatever other licenses they have in the complete set. I buy them all cuz I want to support the fisheries of both states. Chris "Willi" wrote in message ... snakefiddler wrote: oh yea, what's this **** about havin to have a license to fish? good god, i wasn't even required to have a license to have children! course, i was required to obtain a marriage license, and look how much good that did! ![]() snakefiddler- i'm so confused I costs money to maintain fisheries and to provide access. Makes sense to me that the money comes from those who use the resources. Willi |
