Hi,
I'm in this "frustrating" postition, where I have aprox. 700US $ to spend on a new flyrod. ![]() mainly for coastal fishing after seatrout/steelhead here at home in Denmark, but also for an occational trip for bonefish/small permit. I've been looking at the Scott S3 and the Sage Xi2 and the Loop Blueline Sal****er. I'd prefer a 4 piece rod, rather than 3 or 5. Any experience with these rods, or any comments on other good/suitable rods? And no. 6 weight is not a typo. ![]() By the way. As an alternative, I'm ok with buying a blank, and building the rod myself, if this can save me a lot of $$$. Allthough I have to been able to try a finished rod first of course. ![]() Thank you in advance ![]() -- Venligst, Grüsse, Regards, Thomas Schreiber - Finsensgade 48, 4tv 8200 Århus N.
