i'm official!

well, boys and girl-
because of a generous donation made to me, the snakefiddler, by one frank
church, i am now the proud and *jubilant* owner of some major fly fishing
equipment!- (including a cute little vest ;-)). he sent me a 4 weight
cabela stowaway- which is great for around here, because( i do believe) that
our regulations allow use of a 3 to 7 weight in these here waters, and of
course mostly single hook, artificial lures. ( i've been looking this stuff
up!) included in this bounty were many flies-both wet and dry, and yes, i
do know what the difference is! i have also been supplied with fly floater,
a very clever measuring tape that looks and functions like a reel,
hemostats, leader, tippet, and more good stuff. he also sent an
instructional video and a book on fly fishing in small streams.
so, i want to send out a huge thank you (again) to frank, and brag on him to
ya'll-
