Default First time on the west coast

I'm flying to Southern California Saturday,, Sunday for bass, Tuesday
for deep sea fishing on a private 40 footer,, what fish will be
available bottom fishing, this time of the year ?

WHat hook sizes are used ????????

I really need the hook sizes that are commonly used deep sea fishing of
the California coast,, I need to test some Stand Out Hooks out there and
I need to know what sizes to take
