i'm bringing my bay boat to the oct. anti-clave. there may be some
smallmouth activity in the lakes at that time, but if you're up for a boat ride, we can see what turns up. jeff Big Dale wrote: Dave wrote:snipJust have fond memories of tired arms and aggressive fish in another part of the US. (uhh . . .still get that here when I pay attention to what is important, and get out . . .grin . . .just different species.) When I read a trip report like Daytripper's, I am tempted to drive half way across the country. there is some good smallmouth in The Glover River in southeast Oklahoma and it is only about four hours from here. We had a cool spennand the temp in Dallas was down into the 60's and the high soulld be only in the 80's today, so I am very tempted. I will have to tie some smallmouth sized bugs tonight, perhaps a few Los Alamos Ants? Big Dale . |
