They all looked to be about ten inchers, plus or minus.
Surprisingly, they weren't spooky.

Yeah, Hot Creek in the Eastern Sierras of California is similar. When all
else fails or when everything has worked and you're interested in a final
cast at the end of the day try smacking the water with a Turk's Tarantula
or Chernobyl Hopper a few times. Once in a while you might get a little
surprise.

some of the reports we heard, the Breeches was an easier place to fish
than the Letort, and we needed an ego booster.

When fishing a new place it is sometimes worth it to stay on a river for a
whole day and watch it from sunrise to sunset. But I don't blame ya -
sometimes I too engage in hit and run fishing.
