Not to denegrate her overall intelligence nor the school, if she can play
the fiddle without making one's skin crawl she has more talent than I
pocess, but she is studying Applachian Studies or some such and taking a
class on Appalachian Women from a small western NC college. Formality is not
exactly common in Boone from what I remember.

Nothing to do with formality or lack thereof - it was the language and
the caps use - when I did the aforementioned "WTF" looksee on my return,
I simply google-grouped her handle/email. I noticed the caps/no caps
seemed mainly for ROFF, ala jeff and wayno.

And while I can't say for certain, I'd bet taking a class on
"Appalachian Women" at a "small western NC college" ain't exactly like
paying for law school at Yale. And I doubt such a class leads to huge
raises and promotions, so the struggling student trying to better
herself thing doesn't exactly play, at least to me. If an adult takes
such an elective/NC class, and had no idea about expenses, again, she
isn't all that bright (and if it was an "oops," she got financial aid to
do it, and I find it odd that the school doesn't dole out the aid until
it's too late...).

Regardless, she's here, and several "regulars" seem to like her, a few don't
and probably the rest of us are somewhat ambivalent. I don't really care to
know whatother newsgroups she visits nor do I care who she is or is not
doing. This ROFF thingie is a new toy for her and Timmie did a nice tactful
net nanny with her today.

Oh, that's about the fourth time someone has suggested similar, with my
being first (and I'll excuse that one as it IS _possible_ that she took
it other than as I meant it, despite my "in all seriousness...").

But you got to quit being so damn cynical man! For Christ sakes, you're a

IAC, while I might have believed an honest mistake from others with, er,
less-interesting tenure, this was just one "oh, whar's mah silly lil'
ol' head" too many...but hey, Frank C., et al, walk in from wherever
with your life savings and buy her all the Hillbilly State U., tits, and
bikinis she can stand...
