Default Sometimes

you hear something that warms the cockles of your heart.

While driving my 12 year old grandson and his 13 year old buddy home from
bass and bluegill fly fishing on a local pond, I decided to pop the question
to the 13 year old first time ever fly fisher

"OK", sez I, "Of all the things you two did today, what did you enjoy, like
or want to do again - MOST?"
Quickly almost without thinking, the 13 year old said, "I liked the fly
casting most". (Twinge went my heart.)
Thinking what gives, I asked, "Better than catching all those bluegill on
topwater with my poppers?"
"Yeah, but I really liked the casting." He said (as my heart went to my
throat).
Unbelievably, I asked, "Even more than catching that keeper bass at
sundown?"
"Yeah, that was fun, but what I really liked most of all today was the
casting!" (That choked me up so much I shut up!)
Sounds like a new fly fisherman joined our ranks Monday!

Good luck!
John
