I am working on an article for my site on the new bass fishing Batchelor on TV.
Below is some of it - any of you western guys familiar with him? I think the quote from ABC about watching the Weather Channel is funny. "The latest "Batchelor" on the TV series is Byron Velvick, a professional bass fisherman from Las Vegas. Have any of you ever heard of him? He lives out west and fishes the western bass fishing tournament circuits. Byron Velvick has won the U.S. Open bass fishing tournament on Lake Mead twice back in the 1990s. He is a batchelor but has been married once in the past. He fishes a lot and competes on the bass fishing trails out west. A press release from ABC states he is an outdoorsman since "he's also a true outdoorsman and enjoys biking and hiking and watching the Weather Channel." Now to the folks at ABC watching the Weather Channel may make you an outdoorsman. I wonder if watching some TV channels make you a true batchelor?" Ronnie http://fishing.about.com |
