Just curious?

What do you all think about the importance of using "high" end
equiptment? What percentages would you each place on equiptment verses
technique? If you and I were equally competent as to our bass fishing
skills, fishing out of the same boat, and I used a Little HSX 40 Quantum
rod with a little IC 20 Quantum reel, and you had the best rod and reel
money could buy (based on your choice)...what percentage of advantage
would you feel you had over me? We are fishing the same baits in the
same water at the same time. The fishing is compatible for my set
up...no heavy weeds to pull em out of, etc. So, I am just curious as to
the individual "weighing" of the importance of high tech equiptment
(high priced) grin. All other things being equal...what percentage of
advantage do you think you could gain over me in equiptment only?
