You can get a rod tip gauge from any of the rod building
supply companies that have been mentioned in this thread. You can also get the tip tops from them. I did have a guy from Galyan's actually open packages to get me the right fit, but I don't think too many stores would do this. A caliper would probably do the job. A guy on a forum said there are rod tip gauges, but I never saw one in a store or catalog. But they're not very expensive and I bought four different sizes which should cover me pretty well. |
