Default BPS & Galyans rods

I'm looking to purchase new spinning gear to mate to a Shimano Sahara. I
was going to get a 1500 with a 6' light action rod to fish crappie, blue
gill, and the occasional stray bass and a 2500 with a 6'6" medium action to
fish bass.

BPS has a combo mated to their Bionic Blade that would be about the same
price as buying a Galyans branded IM8 Fuji guided rod. By the specs they
offer the same features. Even cheaper is the Galyans branded IM7.
Actually, the Galyans salesman told me their rods come out of the same plant
as BPS.

Does anyone know how these rods will perform?

Ryan
