Default The Future of Fly Fishing in America ?

Someday when they have privatized the national forest and sold all the
best
rivers to Browning and his ilk the western clave will have to held in a
city
park in Spokane or somewhere similar.

I understand that Halliburton is to get the energy "protection" contract for
the geothermal features of Yellowstone.

Disney will install and manage the wildlife rides, with the unpredictable
real creatures replaced by automations, of course.

Browning will build and maintain several 18 fishinhole courses along various
Park rivers, with lovely casting locations, varied presentation challenges,
and carts to take the sports from one to the next after they have taken the
par number of casts. Each fly fishing foursome will be required to use
caddies ( may be called guides) to help them choose flies and appropriate
tackle. The 19th hole, will of course, have a huge supply of micro-brews
and pricey booze.... to cater to many fishers most compelling reason to go
fly fishing, drunken 'camaraderie'

This kind of thing is already well under way .... California has numerous
privatized fishing "holes," some planted with huge hatchery brood fish, to
insure "success," and as far from a quality experience for the Nature lover
as tennis at the country club.

See ... there are reasons to be glad that humans don't live all that long.
