If you decide to stay in North carolina, I might suggest a stop on the way there. The FFF Southeastern Council Conclave is scheduled for Callaway Gardens the first weekend of June. I plan to try to catch some of their huge bluegill while there. The FFF usualy negotiates some very deep discounts for lodging onsite. Thanks for the suggestion, BD. I'll do some checking into it. I'm still not sure where the heck I should fly into if I do go to NC. I have missed your pictures of Perdnales Falls State Park lately. I've missed going there. What's usually one of the best fishing times of the year has been a total washout (pun intended) due to all the rain we've been having: http://waterdata.usgs.gov/tx/nwis/uv...te_no=08153500 Chuck Vance (but things sure are green this year) |
