Default I'm only gonna post this once...

so listen to me now and hear me later!

Just got the stuff I ordered for my pathetic Republican brother. I have become very
fond of the compact cheap clear plastic fly boxes (they are very small, light and you
can see your flies without having to open the box), so I ordered 6 of those for him.
I also ordered two spools (30 yds ea.) of Rio 7X Fluorocarbon, one for him, one for
me. By weight, that stuff is more valuable than gold, I'd bet! They backordered $52
worth of leader materials, but sent the rest of the order.

The Ibis rod seems nice enough, but was made in China, so I suspect that it is about
as good as a KPOS. I pieced it together--7' 6", 4 wt., 4- pc travel rod. There are
no alignment dots, so getting the guides aligned is done by eyeing down the rods
length. Of course, my Sage 379 VPS-Lite lacks the alignment dots and cost about $100
more. I will take it out this weekend, weather permitting, for a test run.
