Charles,
Hopefully this will get through my firewall......... I have been runnning the MinnKota Maxxum 74 with built in sonar for over a year and I can tell you, that with my Hummingbird Legend 300 it works great. When I had the Motorguide with the external sonar, I broke about 3 tranducers in 4 years (not to mention numerous motor problems). Good luck with the MK!! Anyone have anything positive, negative, or neutral to say about trolling motors with the built in universal transducers? Opinions? -- Charles B.
