Talking to the lady at the check in/out desk, the local game warden was all
over fish last week. Of course he was the only one, and he wasn't giving
away any information.

If I'm not mistaken, he's also part of the crew that shocks up fish for
TWRA.

Where... in the hell did you hear this?

SNIP

I heard the lake has really turned on this year. More fish over eight
punds are being caught than ever before in the known history of the
lake.
Even little kids with Snoopy rods and cannned caorn for bait are
catching
trophies.

No kidding. Every one of the locals that I talked to were complaining
that the lake wasn't producing like it should have this year.

Center Hill is always a tough lake to fish, but it was especially tough
this year. Betweent the "less than desirable" weather conditions and the
fact that the lake was so low that I would have needed an ATV to get to my
prior GPS waypoints, it was tougher than usual to say the least.

Missed the part where he said this should jerk Warrens chain?

Warren was bummed about not being able to go and not hearing any
reports so BOB was rubbing it in.

It's one thing to be missing all of the fun, quite another not to

even have
a single report yet...

Careful Warren, last year I got my hand slapped for asking about it. I
was told no info would be given out until everyone got home safely.
