I've got half a dozen or so that give a pretty good idea of what the
place looks like......but nowhere to post them.

I posted two sets - one full size and one smaller for our dialup
friends.

Nice photos, Wolfgang.

That's a pretty looking place.

Yep, looks like a nice stretch of the Wisconsin River.

And this was a nice touch of humor too:

Is it just me, or is the Right Honorable Mr. Axelrad gettin' younger with

I see Wolfie sent you the picture of me he took after I fell in for
the second time. (The Wisconsin River algae laughs at Columbia "Skid
Resistant" soles.) Normally I'm not *that* dirty.

And I think I could use a hair cut.

Not that I'm vain or anything.

Thank you. The beauty of digital photography.......you can take hundreds of
shots, discard all but the half dozen or so that demonstrate your superior
skill......and all without the expense of printing the dross!

Hi All,
Thanks Tim and Wolfgang. Place kinda reminds me of a "smallie" place I
fished when I lived in New York State, and only about 1 3/4-2 hours north of
New York City.

Thanks for the report. I see on Mapquest that there are some parks on the
river in Merrill. Do you fish from the shore, or from a boat?

From shore and not in the town but several miles away.
George, Wolf and I took a canoe, kayak,
trip last year down the river in a different location and the fishing
sucked. Different place, different time. Go figure!
