So who's the Administrator this week ? It can't be my turn
again already. Scott ? Cyli ? Janik ? C'mon guys and gals
somebody's *got* to take charge around here. And the first
thing you should do is correct the misspelled word in the
Subject: of this thread before you delete it.

Now, hang on a sec...ROFF may be missing out on a golden opportunity.
Lyle runs a website or something, so he's got all sorts of curb
experience and stuff like that. Why not just make him permanent
administrator (or at least for as long as he wants the job)? I'm sure
it'll be very interesting to watch for all the exciting changes such a
person can bring to ROFF.

What say, Lyle? You sound like a real sport, and well, if I may be so
bold, one damned fine fellow. Is there room in schedule for helping
your fellow flyfishers who may have wandered from the true path? Care
to accept the post of "permanent ROFF administrator?"

Outstanding idea. We need someone to limit all the offtopic
nonsense. Heck, I can already visualize a gentler-kinder ROFF where
everyone gets along and never is heard a discouraging word ...

Nah ...

Awaiting the results,

Excellent idea. The man knows whereof he speaks, or so he says. After
all, he administers HIS OWN WEB FORUMS. What more can we ask than
that some control freak who can't tell the difference between a Web
forum and a ' Net newsgroup take control here?

Just because this isn't a moderated group shouldn't stop him. He's
bound to know so much about computers that he can moderate this group
without spending more than a minute or two to figure out how to do it.
He's cool. He's got his own Web site. We should all bow down. No.
Remember which direction to face when bowing, guys. That's important.

Darn. I thought this might have been a thread about the refereeing in
the world cup.

We was robbed!

I was rooting for Aus, but it looked like they were more interested in wearing
Italy down than in scoring goals of their own.

Could be Charlie. Being brought up on Aussie Rules, I wouldn't
recognise a 'world game'
strategy if it hit me in the jatz crackers - an all too likely outcome
given my so called
reflexes and poise :-)

Yeah, I think strawflower is another name for paper daisy.

I"m proud of you guys. None of you mentioned his spelling or grammar.
ROFF is so cool.

Thanks for all of the wonderful replies. I will bow out as I am in the wrong place. After searching for discussions about fly fishing I encountered mostly non fishing related discussions. My frustration peaked here at this forum I guess. I will continue to search for a fishing site. As far as administrating and topic steering here... none needed here.

I made a mistake looking for constuctive ideas on fly fishing here it seems. I will bow out as I am in the wrong place. I shall search on.

Tight lines!

What you seek is here, you just don't know how to mine it.
