I bet they find no fault with that, Frank. Face it, "Bite me" is like
saying, "Suck my dick". It *is* offensive.

Bite me.

English isn't your first language, is it?

Save the shirt for claves
or fishing buds - that's what I do with my shirt and hat.

Do you really believe that you are the model for all humanity.....the
standard that everyone should aspire to and by which they should be
judged?

Oh, yeah, almost forgot...... don't tempt them with your "****
happens" shirt. d;o)

Dumb****s happen.

Methinks you might be best off just staying OUT of Wal-mart's.

My professional career - or what I did and still do a bit to make $$
was always closely aligned w the apparel industry.

Wal-Mart at one time even utilized the made in USA label & slogan on their
apparel
but they would not allow their contractors to make any kind of margin nor
their suppliers.
They would squeeze the market till it popped up offshore w lower wages.

They were amongst the first large companies to source off shore
Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Thailand, China
They didn't & don't give a **** as ling as labor was cheap and getting
cheaper.

Sweatshops? - they still don't give a rats ass!

The American economy?
They could care less!
As long as the Walton's made money.

Little or no scruples!

Wal-mart was the leader and still is of cheap clothing , massed produced in
the lowest wage places regardless of conditions and not much if little
emphasis on quality!

Visiting these factories or
Dealing w the buyers in Bentonville AR?

Its more fun to lay under your car for a week.

I still believe in my initial statement re the fortunate demise of Sam
Walton.
Good riddance
Stay dead man!

I do not believe that his heirs any longer run it.
It is run like any other greedy corporation.

They treat their employees like ****.
So why bother to take it out on one of them. They are not the "captains of
industry"
They just take orders from the top!

You - personally (from these groups and your outrage at their actions ) seem
to be of a far higher quality.

You will find no real quality in there.
So do yourself a favor and stay out.

Wal-marts and others like them is a major factor in the increase of my on
line purchasing.
I do pay more at times but I pick and choose my quality of purchase and the
purchasing experience.

My family already knows
I do NOT go to Wal-mart!

Sincerely
Fred

Heavens, she must have mistaken it for a wet fly.

SPLORK !

Well played, old bean, well played.

SPLORK VANG.
Not quite a true vang mu, but close. Even made my spousal unit
chuckle.
Hmm, 'nother thought. Maybe I can find a Church of Satan t-shirt and
wear it in there. Find the same clerk.

I find a 10lb tippet much better as I use quite small hooks when
fishing for carp. 20lb tippet can be a pain with a size 18 or 20 hook.

thank you for the insight. you are quite correct. I've been using wd-40

to slick 20lb line to fit in such a small hole. do you think it would work
for wire as well ? and I am not a carp fisherman, I fish only for trout.I
used to use a wire run off a tractor coil but upon reflection I found it
less satisfying and a little un sportsman like.

Well, don't give up on that technique. In Nebraska, we use a similiar
technique fishing for crappie. The only way to land a Nebraska crappie
is to stun it first, kinda like a republican.

At the register, the register operator called over the front end

overstepped the limit on my credit card (no, its paid off monthly)?
Has their Xray scanner sensed the box opener in my pocket? Do they
think my bottle of water is an explosive?
I was wearing a nice t-shirt that has a royal coachman embroidered into
it, with the words "Bite Me" over the top.
The manager asked me "not to wear that t-shirt into their store again.
Some may consider it offensive."
I was gobsmacked. Speechless. I nodded assent and left.
Only on the way home did the clever rejoinders come to mind. I think I
wear it in there tomorrow. Any ideas?

I think someone may have too much idle time on his hands. May I suggest
a boycott?

Doesn't your wife do needle work? I'd have/ask her to embroider
"MOTHER****ER" below the fly!

If I asked her to do that, she would while I was still wearing the
pants.
