FWIW - 22 people have voted. Only 1 has voted that the Bite Me shirt is
'maybe' offensive. Nobody has said: "Yes, it is offensive".

Well, hip, hip, horay. The only person that counts is the one in the
store that found it offensive. She's the only one that matters.

I'm sure the folks at Wal-Mart's corporate offices will be ever so
pleased to learn that they are to be relieved of the onerous
responsibility of making policy decisions for the corporation.....that
this task has in fact devolved onto a checker at a store somewhere in
the vicinity of Omaha.

I
have the exact same shirt (and hat) and I too have worn it in public
and got stares from lots of folks. The shirt may or may not be
offensive, but it is inappropriate in public.

You really don't have so much as a vague notion of what the words you
use mean, do you?

Wear it at a clave or
to your local fishing watering hole or fly shop, but it *may* offend
someone in public. If you want attention, there are better ways of
getting it..... pink hair would look good on you, Tim, and if you want
to offend, let your dick hang out. d;o)

Um.....this IS a public forum, isn't it?

****, it's no wonder this mutt wants his evil grandchildren dead.

Wolfgang
who knows offensive when he sees, hears, or smells it.

I was in Walmart this evening. I go in there about once every 6 months
for something they sell that costs 4X as much elsewhere.
At the register, the register operator called over the front end
manager. She whispered something in his ear. Hmm, thinks I, have I
overstepped the limit on my credit card (no, its paid off monthly)?
Has their Xray scanner sensed the box opener in my pocket? Do they
think my bottle of water is an explosive?
I was wearing a nice t-shirt that has a royal coachman embroidered into
it, with the words "Bite Me" over the top.
The manager asked me "not to wear that t-shirt into their store again.
Some may consider it offensive."
I was gobsmacked. Speechless. I nodded assent and left.
Only on the way home did the clever rejoinders come to mind. I think I
wear it in there tomorrow. Any ideas?
