Isn't it pretty to think so ? But I have my doubts. It could
be that we are truly stupid. It could be that our politics
is so corrupt, so dominated by the moneyed interests, so mean
and divisive and so gerrymandered that we cannot find the
political will to throw out even this collection of arrogant,
incompetent, rat-******* Republican scumbags. I sure hope so,
but I have my doubts.
