Some think this is all a publicity stunt on the eve of his wife's book release. Stranger things have happened. -- Ken Fortenberry He must have had ( has ) on of the largest collections of pictures of people having intercourse with goats in the world. He interviewed a lot of famous people on his show. He was pretty good at interviewing them as well. He interviewed a lot of authors and was better than Ophra at boosting their sales. If Mike could write his book on fly fishin and get interviewed on Imus it would be on the New York times best seller list in a couple of days. I use to listen to him on the moring drive. He interviewed interesting people and the song parodies were terriific. The only one I can remeber at the moment was "Secret Asian Man" from the Dems were getting money from the Budists. If the song parodies came out on a CD I'de buy it. |

What's next - folks shocked at Howard Stern saying "tits?" It's the Don-****in-Imus Show, not "Five Minutes of All Warm and Fuzzy" on "All Things Considered"... If a person doesn't wanna hear Don Imus say "controversial" stuff, maybe listening to Don Imus' show ain't the thing they ought to be doing... And what the hell was he doing apologizing (to anyone besides the girls themselves)? He shoulda told Al Sharpton something along the lines of suggesting he put his de-nappied head back up his ass. Richard, his comment wasn't "controversial" at all, it was a despicable cheap shot aimed at a group of college kids. The man has a public platform with which to speak his mind, along with that comes a certain responsibility. Um, then what was the whole series of comments, the Lady Vols being "cute" and "a nice-looking group of girls?" And before anyone gets all "racial," the Tennessee and Rutgers team have the same racial makeup. Google up who said what and I think you'll find that Imus' comment_S_ weren't as "racist" as some might wish it to make it, and if 50-Cent or Poof Dribbler or your favorite gangsta rapper had said it, Sharpton, et al, would have never opened their cakeholes. TC, R And no, I didn't hear the original broadcast, but I did a little research to see who said what. |

No one had ever heard of him before. Now in two weeks his ratings will be through the roof...and if rumors of his wife's pending book release is true doubly-so. - Ken |

I'd rather watch the same Larry King interview a half dozen times in a row than watch Imus for ten minutes. -- Scott Reverse name to reply |

Yeah, he has already signed the WNBA as a sponsor, and the makers of Head-On are introducing their new "Nap-Off" on his show...Sharpton is gonna be the spokesman - "Nap-Off, Nap-Off, Nap-Off - I hate your commercials, but your product is AMAZING!!!"
