Default Lapland Clave.....

Whoops. Caught being ungrateful. ;-( Nice city. Nice nice city.

Actually, your fair city was a very pleasant place to have a beer and

check
out the wimminfolk. But it really paled when compared to the beauty of the
drive north (I prefer a good deep woods over any interesting

architecture).
Nontheless, I think there are some touristy things to see (like the river
mouth; where was it again? Down by the ocean?) so maybe next year I'll

have
the chance to see more of the region.

And that will be quite enough of that joke, thank you!

come get me! Thanks, again, and I hope you've finished the whiskey by now.

You're welcome, as was the whiskey (past tense), and to be fair, I think
Umeå is a godawful place. However, living here does enable me to have a job
and to live close to a LOT of woods, mountains and fishing. And there are
some rpety decent folk around if you can overlook the fact that they dont
talk for 6 months of the year, although I suspect Roger is immune from this
condition..... :-))

I must confess at this point that I have never laughed as long and as hard
as when that particular conversation took place.
To quote someone on roff:
"Hilarious".

Hmmm....... I wasn't the one who felt the need to express that the river
runs towards the ocean in like fifteen different ways. BTW the comment that
the river mouth was downstream was IMHO the best of them all.

/Roger
Still laughing when he thinks back.
