I had not thought I would get to the Penns Clave at all. It turns out
I will get to head to Pa. this Friday to teach my son fly fishing
skills in Indiana, Pa. Friday and Saturday then arrive Hemlock Acres
Saturday evening. I should have a good day of fishing on Sunday IN
THE RAIN!!!!!! Fishing Friday and Saturday will be IN THE RAIN!!!!!
Forcast for Pennsylvania? RAIN!!!!! I picked up a new Gortex rain
coat at Bass Pro so I can fish Pa. IN THE RAIN!!!!

Looks like a good opportunity to test new RAIN gear in Pa.

Did I mention it was going to RAIN???!!!!

Yeah, well, whatever rain you don't want, just send it to central Virginia,
where the average rainfall is taking a real beating this year.

Jim Ray (and I kinda like fishing in the rain anyway)

Wayne states:
I should have a good day of fishing on Sunday IN
THE RAIN!!!!!! Fishing Friday and Saturday will be IN THE RAIN!!!!!
Forcast for Pennsylvania? RAIN!!!!! I picked up a new Gortex rain
coat at Bass Pro so I can fish Pa. IN THE RAIN!!!!

ignore him....Friday is supposed to be fine.
Saturday: Chance of thunderstorms
Sunday: Sunny 74 degrees
Monday: see Sunday
Tuesday:see Sunday,Monday

this is Weather Channel's outlook.
Weather Service is putting most days at
20-30 % chance of rain. Nothing major on horizon, rainiest day should be
Saturday, but seems no threat of major rainfall.

Did I mention it was going to RAIN???!!!!

An unduly pessimistic prophecy, Wayne. Here's the forecast from the
NWS office in State College, scarcely two hours old:

Seven Day Forecast
Issued 9:00pm EDT -- Wed, May 12, 2004
Overnight
Partly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower
or thunderstorm, then mostly clear with areas
of fog late. Lows in the mid 60s. Light wind.
Chance of rain 20 percent.
Thursday
Partly sunny. Patchy fog in the morning, then
scattered afternoon showers and
thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 80s. Light
wind. Chance of rain 30 percent.
Thursday night
Partly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and
thunderstorms early. Lows in the mid 60s.
Light wind, becoming southeast around 10
mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Friday
Partly sunny. Highs in the lower 80s.
Southeast winds around 10 mph, becoming
southwest.
Friday night
Partly cloudy. A chance of showers after
midnight. Lows in the lower 60s. Southwest
winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 30
percent.
Saturday
Mostly cloudy. Scattered showers. Scattered
afternoon thunderstorms. Highs in the upper
70s. Chance of rain 30 percent.
Saturday night
Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms. Lows in the lower 50s. Chance
of rain 30 percent.
Sunday
Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers. Highs in
the lower 70s. Chance of rain 30 percent.
Sunday night
Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 50s.
Monday
Partly sunny. Highs in the lower 70s.
Monday night
Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 50s.
Tuesday
Partly sunny. Scattered afternoon showers and
thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 70s.
Chance of rain 30 percent.
Tuesday night
Partly cloudy. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms. Lows in the mid 50s. Chance
of rain 30 percent.
Wednesday
Partly sunny. Scattered afternoon showers and
thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 70s. Chance
of rain 30 percent.

Notice that at no time is the chance of rain more than 30 percent.

And if it does rain, it won't be an all-day downpour.
