I know we have a bad experience last time, but Id still like to swap midges.

I'm up for another swap...the last one was really disappointing and I'm
still looking forward to seeing others' favorite midges. I'd be more than
happy to help out in any way that I can, and I'm not planning a "camping
trip" in the foreseeable future ;-)

Bruiser is the only tier I know that enjoys tying size 28. I had
some of his small stuff once but couldn't tie a leader on them.
A dozen of them fit on my thumbnail.
