ok obviously the wrong idea was had here so to avoid people thinking I am

an
anti religious freak which I am not ill try again

I understand what you meant, and no, it doesn't really bother me, unless
they start telling me that I need God (or some other higher being) in my
life to know how catch bass, or to know the difference between right and
wrong. Unless God (or some other higher being) is going to come down and
whisper in my ear what bait I need to throw and where to throw it, I really
can't see any advantage I don't already have in my possession.

I dismiss it as there personal preference...as easily as I dismiss those
extra flyers some marketeers want to toss in with unrelated purchases.

for example if you bought some fishing gear from a reputable company and
along with the fishing gear came Tupperware catalogs and advertising telling
you that you should be using Tupperware would it bug you? I mean those that
use Tupperware like Tupperware so you should too.

It totally depends on how it's done. A lot of magazines come full of
advertising, some not even attached so that it falls out on the floor.
It's irritating, but I keep getting them. Bassmaster sent a book and
kept bugging me to pay for it. They won't get any more of my money.

as I said in the original post I like and respect the Linders for what they
do if they choose to have lily pad revivals every Sunday it would not bother
me I was mearly curious if the way it was packaged bothered anyone else.
that's it
if your a ford driver and someone says Chevy is better does that bug you?

It depends on how it's said. Does he say "I think Chevy trucks are a
better value." or does he say "You must be an idiot to drive a Ford!"

this was not meant to bring religion into the center of this
and I probably should have formed the question a lot better than I did.

I also believe that his wife had a very serious bout with cancer and came
close to death. I know from personal experience that it tends to sharpen
and focus ones beliefs and priorities. The great thing about it is if it
offends somebody they can choose to not watch / participate. They are not
going door to door. There certainly is no need to bash someone for their
beliefs, this is America.

I was just perusing the new Linder brothers website
and I got curious about religion is it me or are they now
really into the religion thing? I would not knock it at all to each their
own and all and I always knew that the in fisherman was a Christian
publication but the new edge stuff seems to have "come out of the closet"

as
far as religion goes.
what bothers me about it and it is a very small bother is that it very
subtly being pushed which I disagree with.
anyone else feel that way?

that. Seems llike we all agree that we are all entitled to our respective
opinions... just if you disagree with me . . . yer going to hell where
you'll never catch another bass g
