"noise" Hardy and other similar reels make. Poor misquided souls.
Love those Bougle's and JLH's. There's a new grass stick in my future and I
think I'm going to put one of the Angel's on it.

I ain't one that complains, and none of my Hardys "purr"...

Love those Bougle's and JLH's. There's a new grass stick in my future and I

Hear, hear. I don't know who decided fly reels *ought* to
make noise, but imo it's whacko. It wouldn't be so bad if
it was only when a fish peeled line, but it's also anytime
I strip line off the reel. I like peace and quiet when I'm
fishing.

I'm on the fence on this one.....I love hearing my CFO scream when I have a
good fish on, but it does ger a little annoying when stripping line.
