I don't pretend to be the "group expert" at anything Rodney. I come here to talk bass fishing, to make friends. You do none of the above. Your sinkers are just modified bait-walkers, your hooks are just bent hooks, your bungees are underwear elastic, and I won't even get into your knot-tying aid (are there really dumb anglers out there? I've never met one). Try looking in the mirror Snakeoil, all of it. I will not get into a ****ing match with you,, Yes I left a year ago because of me letting some of you know it all's get me mad. This is a news group,, I guess you had rather read about it in the national magazines months latter I'll say this about my rig,, I have never been outfished by anyone not using it. I understand if "you" can't control your lure to make inactive fish strike it,, but I can, so can anyone who practices just a little, with my rig, you can also make very natural action with it,, I guess you just shook your pole, and said well ain't that crap. It is a remote control "you" control it, it does not have to go crazy unless "you" make it do it. SUre it's a glorified elastic,, so what, no one else had ever thought of it before, it does what nothing else has ever done. If I had made it complicated who would want to throw it on the end of their line ? FUnny Warren how you call all my stuff snake oil,, yet the guys who make their living fishing tournaments use them. The TOP names in fishing use them HAy warren how many national fishing magazines Have you had feature stories done on ? last count, me and or my inventions have made them all Yes my hook is a bent piece of wire,, guess what,, look in "your" tackle box,, all of them are. Of course mine is just a modified hook, but that can something none other can. Of course the Rock Hopper is a modified weight, but it works better than anything else out there. Do you really think companies pay inventors for snake oil,, why don't you give it a try, invent something in fishing and get it licensed to a tackle manufacturer,, I mean heck, if I can do it surely you can, then you won't be needing sponsors I came here offering free stuff, and let it speak for it's self, you've tried to belittle me and to talk others out of taking it,, why is that Warren? Scared to be proved WRONG My knot tool Warren was invented for people loosing their sight, actually for my Dad, what are you going to do when you get old and can't see to tie you hooks on,, quit fishing ? WEll I have said my piece,, I will send out what I promised to, the JUry is out, we will let them see,, but I guess you will call them dumb for using it, but maybe they are smarter than you, maybe they feel they "can" control the action of their lures to catch fish, where you could not. If these guys will slow down, and work their lures in one spot for a couple of min. I will bet half will catch the biggest bass of their lives this spring on the Long Shot. I will tell you this Warren,, a very large number of the people here asked for them. -- Rodney Long, Inventor of the Boomerang Fishing Pro. , Stand Out Hooks , Stand Out Lures, Mojo's Rock Hopper & Rig Saver weights, Mojo's Long Shot rig and the EZKnot http://www.ezknot.com |

Now look at what you've done... You've done gone and blown Rodneys
sponsorship. That oughtta make you stop and think the next time your fingers want to do some talking. ;-) And if I can't have the original FTL, then you can just keep your Hanes. -- Visit Charles at the new: www.thebasspro.net www.secretweaponlures.com www.outdoorfrontiers.com www.midtennclassic.org "go-bassn" wrote in message ... Until my jockeys fall down to my knees, I'll be happy to send you a 12" section of my underwear elastic. Keep in mind that the stuff I'll send you is the Hanes version, not the genuine Fruit of the Loom version. Of course, if you're too cheap to pay the postage, a simple rubberband will do. I know the one on the header can't be right, cause nobody would actually post an email address on a newsgroup. Tell me, when will the Fruit of the Loom version be available? The bass in this area won't go for any old rubber band, they only bite if I'm using quality bungee gear, and my wife is complaining about her spandex shorts getting too short. I can't steal any more material from them. ![]() |

Bradley, go back and read all the posts you have made here and count how
many have to do with bass fishing, and how many contain profanity. You are invited to go he http://www.rofb.net/ and check out the posting guide. Now, to answer your question, Warren and I were discussing the different available materials that could be used to attach a weight to a main line to FISH FOR BASS. We were comparing underwear elastic, rubber bands, and spandex to the material offered by Rodney for BASS FISHING. If you will re-read my post below, you will find my reference to using rubber bands for BASS FISHING. Henry Bradley wrote: So tell me! What the hell does this have to do with bass fishing?
