It seems that Stan's thyroid got overly excited about the impending
holidays and ran amok, causing his big heart to pitter-pat at a
ridiculously high rate. This landed him in the hospital, where he's been
treated (or mistreated) since last Wednesday. I just spoke to him on the
phone, and he's hopeful he'll be back home by the end of the week. So
it's time for that fine roffian tradition of ultra-camaraderie and
sending of good thoughts, vibrations, prayers, and whatever else floats
your boat.

I, for one, am ****ed that I bought a nice bottle of ruby port to create
the pre-Christmas toast, and my port-drinking buddy is unable to share.
That's gratitude for ya. Oh well, there's always the pre-New Years
toast.

Seriously, Stan, get well soon.

Please echo those sentiments from me too, Tim. Like, Dave, would love
to know which hospital & ward. The email on here work and you should
have my real one too.

Yeah, what Timmaaay said.

Can we all chip in and send him something cheerfully
illegal and almost harmless ? (I'm thinking really
nice whores and Cuban cigars. ;-)

Sending him our best and encouragement with the real cute nurses.

Port drinker, eh? hmmm . . . . I can think of at least one get-well
gift.
