We appreciate that, Chris.... and we're happy to be associated with the
folks in this group. I'm looking forward to fishing with you, again, when you come down for the Mid-Tenn Classic on Center Hill in April. I promise, if I'm on the trolling motor at the time you hook a six-pounder, I will be quicker getting you over to it. Chris didn't mention it here, but in the last hour or so of the Okeechobee Classic last year, a huge bass hammered his spinnerbait as it came across a hole in the grass. The bass tangled him up in a clump of weeds, and I slowly steered a zig-zag course over to it, trying to keep on eye on the bass, one on the trolling motor arrow, and one on the grass to pick out a way through the slop. Unfortunately, I ran out of eyes, and Chris ran out of time. The bass came unhooked just out of arm's reach. After such a strong showing the first day of the tournament, that one bass the second day would have assured him of first place, I thought. It just proves how gracious Chris is, that I didn't have to wade and swim back to Okie-Tantie for the weigh-in. Chris, I hope you can bring some of your buddies back down with you. Yuell and the ladies at Hurricane are excellent hosts and cooks, and the fishing on The Hill seems to have improved over two years ago, too. Joe ___________ "Chris S" wrote in message ... Happy Holidays to you also Joe. Thanks for the very kind offer Chris S |

Thanks to all the guys at SW lures. I could use a few more, like Joe I spend
quite a bit of time going into brush and trees to retrieve a lure..sometimes not my own. As I looked back over 2004 a vast majority(95%) of my spinnerbait fish were taken on SW, most of them (s Baits)were either hand outs at the Classics or a few that were sent for an ROFB contest. SW has done a lot for the regular members of this NG.. so those of you who got ****ed thinking it was spam..too bad..too dam bad, especially those who have nothing to contribute here. While I respect an individuals right to lurk here, don't get upset at an offer for the regular members of this NG and then start spouting your "Don't spam me crap" I know both Charles and Joe,,they are genuinely good people. It was not a spam offer. Those that think it is, should come down to the MTC in April and see how much these guys do for this group. or stick around here and see how much knowledge they contribute on a regular basis I have fished with a lot of people that post here.... a better group I can't imagine..it's funny how most of the objections to Joe's post came from the people that don't know any better. Get over it, Happy New Year to everyone...wow I did it without cursing!!!!! Randy- |

quite a bit of time going into brush and trees to retrieve a lure..sometimes not my own. From: "alwaysfishking" I carry a folding saw in my boat - keeps me from having to climb trees! I can get my lure back and make new cover all in one effort. Ronnie http://fishing.about.com |
