And, you forgot to note, they took great care not to shove their God down anyone else's throats, or use their vision of God to shape Government policies. Unless the current trend shifts(and history dictates the pendulum swings back), we are headed toward a Fundamentalist Christian version of Iran. Pardon me if I hold off uniting on that abomination.... I doubt that would happen, because neither you nor I would stand for it. But, you could do your part by stopping the hate that is so prevalent among your liberal friends. What happens if yet *another* Republican is elected to the WH in 2008? 2012? |

Since I can't stand Bush, didn't see anything great about Kerry and was in the booth anyway, I voted Libertarian. No, it wasn't a wasted vote. My state went, as I had figured, for Kerry. Dave asks:
What happens if yet *another* Republican is elected to the WH in 2008? 2012? the party doesn't matter, it's the ideology. For instance, Rudy G is hardly a devout fundamentalist type....based on his life performance he could never run on moral values the same way. Interesting that you view my expression of opinion as hate, as it more one of abject fear. Tom |
