Stanley, ID.

Where were you when I put disk brakes on my daughter's '66 Mustang?

You put disk brakes on a '66 Mustang using nothing but your
Leatherman ?

Uh, did I say that?

Because it rusted away in a scrapyard 20 years ago?

Nah. I don't have a Leatherman, so I can't put disc brakes on it.

Besides, it needs a new water pump and I can't FIND the darned thing!

:-)

It's right next to the torque converter.

That could be reasonably inferred from context you snipped.

Installing disk brakes on a '66 Mustang with only a Leatherman is so
patently absurd that only a complete moron would take it seriously,
regardless of context.

So you used the appropriate tools ? How foolish. With a little
ingenuity you could have figured out a way to install them on
the cheap.

And weekly heaping servings of powder blue is *good* for you ?
Face it old friend, football season is no time for a Tar Heel
to be harping about anybody else's ****ed up sense of reality.

On the other hand, I did pay good money to sit outside on what
promises to be a raw, chilly, drizzly night to watch my Illini
get eviscerated by Penn State. If I have any sense at all, and
that's not at all likely, I'll leave at halftime, walk home,
start a fire in the fireplace and watch the first game of the
World Series on the tube.
