It varies. A big man with a good appetite and a real fondness for
pheasant?.......a couple of weeks, maybe.

That's five pheasants per day.

Your math has improved significantly of late. We are all as proud of you as
you should be of yourself.

I'm pretty big

Nowhere near as big as you think.

and I have a good appetite,

We'll bear the strain and refrain from asking for what.

but I'd bail after day 1.

A fitting epitaph. Someone make a note.

Oh, did I hurt your feelings, Tom?

hardly. Boring me doesn't hurt a bit, Dave. Why should I get hurt over a
tedious political rant?

Golly, gee. I'll probably lose
two or three seconds of sleep over it.

Class, David.....I thought you had more of it.

And
if you can't stand my irony and scorn, well,...... that's just tough.

actually, I am big on irony and scorn. It is broken records like your petty
snits over Kerry, repeated ad nauseum that make me wonder if you are aware
of what is really important, sometimes.......

I respect others' idealogies.

You're a lying sack of murderous pig ****.

mJeff Miller, wayno, Stan Gula, Ken
Fortenberry are all liberals,

Are they? Well......gosh.

but I consider them friends and respect
their points of view.

You're a liar.....and evil.....we know this.....we have it from an
unimpeachable source.

May not agree with them, but that's ok.

Yeah. That's o.k.

Wolfgang

i am unable to fail to respond to this sort of tragedy. i know how
useless it is for me to say anything to each of you, how likely it will be
that i will only exacerbate your anger, towards each other, or even begin to
engender anger towards myself, by responding in this fashion; but i just
can't avoid doing this: that is, pointing out to both of you that i have
fished with each of you, and shared time with each of you, in many different
environs, and have found each of you to be boon companions, without regard
to your political positions, and i must conclude that these imprints on
these pages are a great waste of time and friendship.

i wish you would stop. and not just you, but forty, and charlie, and
rw, and willi, and janik, and ... all the others. this is not some childish
call to sing kumbaya around some imaginary campground fire. i just wish
that when we disagree, we could do it without becoming so ****ing personal.

we will regret it, one day.

your friend in the old north state
wayno

Cheney to receive citation for lack of hunting stamp!

I do have to jump in and echo a prior sentiment(Wayne Knight, I believe)
which stated that, in the overall scheme of things, the VP's hunting prowess
or lack thereof is really insignificant, and the furor over it serves to
make those raising a stink sort of look small. I am much more interested in
who old Dick had shape our "energy policy", such as it is, or why we seem to
be hell bent on ****ing up the Mideast further than it already is, than
whether Cheney had an upland-bird stamp.....but, that's just me.

So you think that shooting 70 farm-raised pheasants is sport?

I figure its just about the same amount of "sport" as catching stocked
fish.

Exactly right, John. I'll confess to having done both in
the past but given my druthers, I'd just as soon not do
either in the future. (I'll make an exception for Santeetlah,
just 'cause it's so goddamn pretty.)

I wouldn't mind shooting a few farm-raised pheasants. But shooting 70
seems a little extreme. How long does it take someone to eat 70
pheasants?

um....i'd be willing to volunteer for the experiment, assuming a
reasonably competent cook. (and no olives)

Well, not to make any outrageous claims of competence or anything, but I'd
be willing to try the cooking. I suggest we choose the venue carefully,
though. Idaho, for example, doesn't appear to have discovered the freezer
yet......and you know what they say about guests and hanging birds.

Default potentially useful small program

wolf,

I found this program several years back, when I was doing lots of website
work. I was finding myself typing exactly the same code snippets over,
and over, and over, and over. Clipmate makes it much easier to repeat
yourself with less strain from typing.

It let's you extend the Windows clipboard so that you can far more easily
reuse the same old stuff, even in a slightly different order, without
having to re-type anything.

You might want to check it out, could save a guy like you a lot of time

I've got lots of time......more of it than you have wit.....or friends, if
we are to believe you.

Wolfgang
or clues, for that matter.
