Default Newbie questions -- after my 1st season of fishing

Or mine, and buys or builds a 3wt!!

Hey ! I recommended a 3wt too. And another 6 or a 7 or a 8.
You know, cover all the bases. ;-)

If I'd have known the OP fished a lake with a big muskie
population I'd have recommended a 9wt too. Lake Evergreen
sounds fascinating but McClean County wants to charge $45
a boat, so to hell with that.

You are too stupid to even realise when you are wrong, which is a
great pity, as it would then give us a few months of peace.
Criticising, insulting, or provoking me, has nothing whatever to do
with the excellent and correct advice I gave. Your childish rants
about all sorts of rubbish are absolutely pathetic.

As are Fortenberryīs constant reiterations of bull****. Doubtless he
thinks if he repeats the crap long enough, it will magically become
true. It wont, as anybody with a modicum of knowledge about fly-
fishing and fly lines will tell you. It is not the same as repeating a
slur on somebodyīs character so often that others actually believe it.
Nor is it possible to confuse the issue much here, anybody who reads
the thread knows what dumbos you are, in double quick time.

You will use anything and everything you think you know, or can find
or invent, regardless of sense, decorum, or even common decency, in an
attempt to insult and damage somebody you donīt know, who is sitting
thousands of miles away laughing at you, all because you donīt like a
piece of advice he gave to someone else. Of course you have no idea
what that advice means, and you are so caught up in your silly
tirades, that you likely never will. You know what that is? A very
good definition of an idiot.

I often wonder how people like you ever manage to survive long enough
to pollute the gene pool. If there was any justice, your stupidity
would cause your demise long before you reached an age where you might
be a nuisance.

Why donīt you read your own stupid and childish posts again? Show
them to your friends and neighbours, so that they can see what a sad
old fool you are. No skin off my nose, keep on ranting. It is a bit
sickening to watch, but it does have its mildly amusing side,
especially when a few of your intelligence challenged allies chip in.

Unfortunately for you, I am quite invulnerable to anything your puny
intelligence and miserable character could possibly dream up,( which
is also why I donīt need a cape ). So carry on as long as you
like, foam at the mouth, write even more barely intelligible rubbish,
get excited, have a heart attack or a stroke, about nothing, and I
will still just laugh at you.

Laugh, Mike, laugh! I sit here after having a wonderful dinner with
my wife, children and grandchildren. No foaming. No stroke. No
heart attack. Just a heap of pity for you, Mike. First it was Gehrke
who you hated like I have never seen before. And now you turn that
hate to Fortenberry (because he's right), and me (because I have the
audacity to doubt and disagree with you).

This is MY last post, Mike, on this thread. At first I was enjoying
myself, you know, like poking a stick at a monkey in a cage (something
I would not do, btw). But now it has become a very sad pastime poking
at you.

Seek some help, Mike.

You are so egocentric and stupid that you still think this is about
you and Fortenberry. Nobody cares about either you or Fortenberry. I
told you quite sincerely, I could not care less if either or both of
you dropped dead on the spot. You are just nasty people and best
avoided.

The only thing the original poster cared about was getting some good
advice, and he got it, from me. The rest of your silly tantrums and
Fortenberryīs prancing and posturing are just silly superfluities
occasioned in the main by your ignorance and idiocy.

No skin off my nose what you do you stupid old windbag.

You might also find this of interest.

"Thanks Mike, the special shooting head is great. I used it this
morning and it works perfectly with some of the lake flies I
mentioned. I will send a couple of the flies.

Best regards

G."

See if you can guess who sent me that.

Otherwise, go and screw yourself.

Well, o.k., all of that may be true. But then, as has oft been stated, you
couldn't possibly care less about any of that. You have repeatedly made it
clear (sometimes a dozen or more times in a single thread) that none of this
affects you in any way and that you simply can't be troubled to take note of
it, let alone acknowledge or respond to any of it.

I guess ya takes yer pathos where ya finds it.

Wolfgang
who supposes that at one time or another someone has already pointed out
that pathology can be vastly amusing, and will thus forbear.

The problem is mainly of a subjective and semantic nature. Your
interpretation of what I have written does not necessarily coincide
with what I intended you to construe from it. Furthermore, it may be
of less importance to me that you construe it correctly at all, than
it is to you.

There are lots of things I donīt much care about, but I still look at
them, or interact in some way. Thatīs just how it is.

Please feel free to disagree, but that will have no effect on my
attitude towards the things I donīt much care about, which in point of
fact is precisely one of those things.

You seem to be confusing "not caring" with "totally disregarding", but
I donīt really care about that, and thus disregard it

No, it is a matter of self-perception and fundamental honesty. Frankly, I
don't think you have any trouble concerning accuracy with regard to the
former, thus explaining the sticky business of the latter.

Your interpretation of what I have written does not necessarily
coincide with what I intended you to construe from it.

Precisely the problem with most of what passes for communication in Usenet.
The solution is simple (not at all the same thing as "easy"). Simply saying
what one intends to would make the problem of the lectors construction
disappear. Well, for those of us with a rudimentary command of the
language, anyway.

Furthermore,
it may be of less importance to me that you construe it correctly at
all, than it is to you.

Thus inviting the easily misled to speculate about your reasons for
explaining all of this is great detail yet again.

There are lots of things I donīt much care about, but I still look at
them, or interact in some way.

You're a liar.

Thatīs just how it is.

Yes, it is.

Please feel free to disagree,

I will, with or without your permission.

but that will have no effect on my
attitude towards the things I donīt much care about, which in point of

Was makes this all pathological is not the simple fact that, like davie,
kennie and the rest of the morons with whom you engage in what you are
evidently all pleased to think of as some sort of clever sparring or
jousting, nor the obvious fact that you are all obsessed with the image you
project, nor yet the fact that the effort inevitably has an effect
diametrically opposed to what you hope for. No, what makes it pathological
is that you all KNOW this......and you can't stop.

You seem to be confusing "not caring" with "totally disregarding", but
I donīt really care about that, and thus disregard it

Yes, your disregard is palpable.

Wolfgang
