Has anyone else seen how the RIGHT is trying to use Obama's name against

I saw something on CNN, or MSNBC today where they asked people if the US was doing enough to capture Barack Obama. Possibly, but the question remains: Does Barak Hussein Obama still present a threat to this country. :~^ ) Honestly, I think he should sit out this time around. He needs to get some political time under his belt. He seems intelligent, articulate, and he is a personable individual, but that don't necessarily make him presidential material. We've got a moron for president now, we don't want a bright individual who isn't mature enough to handle the issues that will be thrown at him in that office. I say let the Dems screw up by nominating Hillary--against her will--lose the 2008 election and then in 4 years Obama and Edwards can run as Independents and take all. It'll be great for the country! I do hope that Hillary will never run for president, nor even vice. First, I don't think a woman can be elected president any time in the next decade or two. Second, Hillary has so much baggage that it'd bog her right down. -- r.bc: vixen Speaker to squirrels, willow watcher, etc.. Often taunted by trout. Almost entirely harmless. Just as it has in Rah Dean's case, that is, if he had any intellect. What's more distressing is that the Dem. party machine will likely think nominating her is the right idea. I really want to see a Hillary Clinton/George Clooney vs. Sam Brownback/Rick Santorum election. This country ain't near ****ed-up enough, let's go all the way! Op |

The buzz around Barack is happening too early and he realizes this, as evidenced in his own comments at last week's NH book signing, town-hall thing. His flame could burn bright and brief, at least for the 08 contest. I do like his message though: amongst other things, the audacious hope that a campaign can be fought with a respect for the opponent. I just wonder if he'll still walk on water when he realizes he has to go negative, either as a first strike, or in retaliation? -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

He's won, and lost, elections for the Illinois legislature and Illinois politics is anything but genteel. -- Ken Fortenberry |
