Either you meant to say "Howdy Doody Time" or that's the second
time you've called one of us dowdy.

Either way, I don't think stupid little pricks like you should
be pouring fuel on a fire that would better be extinguished.

Personally, I like an egg custard with a sprinkling of nutmeg, but I was
never force-fed it. It was always a rare treat. I especially like flan
accompanied by a doppio.

Oops. Wrong thread. Continue on. :-)

I was trying to make light of the situation (even though I misspelled
Howdy's name).

I take you weren't a Howdy fan? I went to the show as a kid and got to
wear my cowboy outfit. Had fun! Got to see Bozo the Clown's show too.
More fun!

I don't think it's me that's pouring on the fuel.

Yeah, you're part of the problem. When decent sportsmen don't
condemn filth, they run the risk of condoning filth.

Think about it.

lesse, I've fished with Mr. Bowen, he seemed sporting enough, albeit a brief
glimpse on my part. I especially appreciated that he wasn't one of those
arrogant, snobby twits who gives all flyfishers a bad name.

Think about it.

I did. See above.
