Sometimes, in one of those rare reflective moments, I like to think that with the benefit of their influence I might have become someone they'd be proud of. That must be a good feeling. Well, I knew mine long enough to disappoint them a thousand times, as well as bring them joy to a similar (yet thankfully more effectual) degree. Yeah, life is a mixed bag. Thankfully *whew* If you brought your parents joy, so too would you have provided for your grands. In my gripping hand, these parents (adoptive, and biological) will know no grandchildren by me . . . luckily, they have not scolded me for this, as yet g I'm afraid I brought very little joy to my parent's lives. However, that's not entirely my fault......they just weren't very joyful people. As a matter of fact, there is mounting evidence that it wasn't my fault at all. Posession, I've heard, is 9/10ths of the Law g In recent years I've discovered that not only do I have a devoted coterie of fans here in r.o.f.f. (I like to think of them as the children I never had) who read with evident joy every word that I write, but people actually wander over from other news groups just to talk to me. I guess I'm even luckier than you. Of this I am glad. I lay back, now, from talking; to listen. Can I come back and hollar at you again sometime? -- ah |

Wolfgang Indian Joe passing thru----enjoy reading some of your stuff but would question "a devoted of fans "-----but it is too early in morning to work over a witter tag. "Wolfgang" succumbed to the irresistable force of peer
pressure and finally wrote: "Phil Kyle" wrote in message .. . WAM old sport, I AM correct here yes? WAM? George Michael? WTF? ![]() Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart? Huh? Duh? You are wasted son. Why the hell did you **** around with music when you could have made a name for yourself in literature? Sorry to hear that you can't, well, hmmmm, how do I say this, hear. Bloody good job you can read. I'm so sorry that your mom died at 57 years of age, ecstasy or shagging? How the hell is Leopold or should I say daddy? I realise that he taught you all he knew. It didn't take long I bet. I know for sure that his wifi pda was absolute ****. Ebuyer had a lot to answer for even then. Anyhow, keep up the good work and I'll toast a few of your chords just for the hell of it. Actually, Mom was 84 when we buried her about seven weeks ago.......she'd have been 85 this coming Monday. It had nothing to do with drugs or sex. She was diabetic, had Parkinson's......ulcerated feet and legs led to sepsis, which led to kidney and liver problems. Since standing and walking were prohibitively painful, she was pretty much confined to bed for the last six or eight months......except for the brief torturous intervals of physical therapy. This enforced immobility, in turn, resulted in bed sores that made lying in any position for more than a couple of minutes excruciating. Staffing problems at nursing facilities being what they are, she was often ignored for hours at a time........but I'm sure she would be pleased to know that you've been thinking about her. Thank you for that. And my hearing is excellent........better even than Beethoven's at my age, thank you very much. Anyway, I really wish that *I* was in control of this conversation.......I think if I were, we'd talk about something else.
