Is it ethical to shave while on a fishing trip ?

My response:

Blue state, hell no !

Unlike you pansies up there in them "Blue States", us guys in the Red
States don't EVER shave our legs, fishing trip or no fishing trip.

Our palms and backs are a different matter.

Who was she trying to impress? . . . AFAIAC, razors are excess baggage.
I was on a five-day trip once on the Smith River in Montana where somebody
brought one of those camp showers, and everybody (women and men) were sort
of expected to use it.

When I go on a multi-day fishing trip I don't shave for
the duration, perhaps that's weird too.

Here's a roffian survey and please indicate whether you
live in a blue state or a red state. ;-)

What is this "shaving" you mention?

I shaved once about 20 or so years ago. My kids all cried as soon as they
saw me, and my wife couldn't look at me without bursting into laughter. I
grew the beard back and it'll stay there until it falls out naturally.

Hell no. But I threw the razor away in 1974.

Texas is most often brown in the west, but due to all the rain, most of it has
been green this year.

yes, I admit it. If i'm staying in a hotel or a campground with shower
facilities I will shower and shave every morning. Trust me, the envrionment
appreciates it.
